BRAD SILL
Golf Pro
Projected Expenses
I opened the Brad Sill Golf Center in the spring of 2014 on the west side of Spartanburg just off Reidville Rd at Oak Grove road. The driving range and learning center gives me a place to work on my game and earn money to put toward my golf tournaments and travel. Obviously the goal is to earn a paycheck at each event that exceeds my entry and expenses. The primary purpose of the Egolf tour and the Carolina Mtn Tour events is to continue to gain competitive experience and hone my game for the Web.com qualifying school which happens once a year. Starting in 2013 the qualifying school that was previously for the PGA tour is now for the Web.com tour. After making Web.com tour the top players from the Web.com tour are mixed with the PGA tour players outside the top 125 to qualify for the PGA Tour. Golf at the upper echelons of the PGA Tour is very lucrative but the path there is not necessarily so. There are a number of smaller professional tours that have sprung up in the last few years. Some of them have some pretty good payoffs however.
